Summary

Stroke Rate Trainer does not collect, track, share or sell any personal data. This applies to the iPhone and iPad app and to the Apple Watch app.

What the app does and does not do

Information stored on your device

The app saves a few settings only on your own device, so they are there the next time you open it: your last tempo, your “Cycles to Count” choice, your beep pitch, and your customized event list. The Apple Watch app saves its own few settings (such as Tempo or Pace mode, your last values, and the beep sound and Countdown Ticks choices) on the watch itself. This information never leaves your device or watch, and the developer cannot see it. Deleting the app removes it.

Apple Watch app

The Apple Watch app works on its own, without your iPhone. While it is running it asks watchOS to keep it active (an extended runtime session) so the beeps and wrist taps continue with your wrist down. This is used only to keep the timer running. It does not collect or record any information about you or your activity, and it does not start a workout.

Contacting the developer

If you email the developer for support, your email address and message are used only to reply to you. They are not shared with anyone and are not used for any other purpose.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
