Pace Clock Plus (“the app”) is a swim interval clock for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information.
The lanes, blocks, sets, names, colors and settings you create are saved only on your own device, in the app’s private storage. They are never sent to the developer or to any server. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools, and it contains no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Your lanes sync between your iPhone and your Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. This transfer happens directly between your own paired devices. It does not pass through the developer or any server run by the developer. The iPad stores its own lanes and does not sync with other devices.
When you start a lane, the watch app starts a workout session so that your clocks keep running when your wrist is down. To do this, iOS asks for permission to save workouts to Health. The app uses this only to keep itself running. It does not read your health data, and it doesn’t send health data anywhere. You can decline or change this permission at any time in the Health or Watch app settings. Without it, the clocks still work, but the watch may stop updating when your wrist is down.
Optional phone cues play a short sound and haptic at each interval. They are off by default and use only your device’s speaker and haptic engine. The app does not send you notifications or use your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos.
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
