Multi-lane swim interval clocks for coaches, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Program each lane’s practice once, tap Play, and every lane runs on its own interval automatically. Glance at your wrist instead of calling send-offs off the wall clock.

What it does

Up to 5 lanes on iPhone and iPad, each with its own name and color.
Blocks of sets: reps and intervals, repeated for as many rounds as you like (for example, 4 rounds of 2×100 on 1:30, then 2×25 on 0:30).
Ladders: each rep’s interval steps up or down by a set amount (1:30, 1:25, 1:20…).
Rests that count down, and count-up or count-down clocks per set.
Apple Watch: two lanes at a time with large clocks, a haptic tap at each rollover, Always-On display, and block and set editing with the Digital Crown.
iPad scoreboard mode: a full-screen, high-contrast view for mirroring to a pool scoreboard or an external display.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a lane? Tap + on the lane screen, name the lane, pick a color, and add blocks and sets. Tap and hold a lane to edit, duplicate, reset or delete it.

What do Back, Next Rep and Play do when a lane is paused?

Back sets the clock to zero on the current rep. Each further tap steps to the start of the previous rep.
Next Rep moves to the next rep and zeros its clock without starting it.
Play starts from wherever the lane is currently armed. If you tap it straight away, it resumes exactly where you paused.

This lets you pause to talk to swimmers and then start the clock exactly when you call the next send-off.

What does Sync to Wall Clock do? It nudges running lanes to the nearest 10-second mark (1:48 becomes 1:50, 1:52 becomes 1:50). It never changes the current rep or set. Use it to correct drift against the pool’s wall clock during long blocks. You’ll find it in Settings on both the phone and the watch.

Why is my phone silent? The phone and iPad are silent by default. If you use the phone without a watch, turn on Phone cues in Settings for a sound and haptic at each interval rollover.

Do my clocks keep running if I switch apps or lock my phone? Yes. Clock positions are calculated from each lane’s start time, so they are correct the moment you return to the app. On the watch, a workout session keeps the app running with your wrist down. Because of that, the watch may ask for Health permission the first time you start a lane.

Do the iPhone and iPad share lanes? No. The iPhone and Apple Watch sync with each other. The iPad keeps its own lanes.

The watch says “Not reachable”, but my lanes sync. That’s expected. Lanes sync in the background and are delivered whenever the watch and phone can talk to each other.

My lanes aren’t syncing to the watch. Make sure the iPhone and watch are paired and the Pace Clock Plus watch app is installed. Open the app on both devices once. If it still doesn’t sync, email support with your iOS and watchOS versions.

How do I start a lane at a different time from the others? Each lane has its own play button for staggered starts. Play All starts every lane together.
